About Us
Christian De Brennan, Accredited Podiatrist, graduated from the Sydney Institute of Technology in 1997 with a Diploma of Health Science (Podiatry) at Credit level, and was awarded the “Allied Health Industries Award” for commitment to the overall ideology of the profession. In 2000, he travelled to Edinburgh, Scotland and pursued further study to gain his Bachelor of Science (Podiatry) from Queen Margaret University. In 2007 he completed his Masters of Podiatry (Core subjects and Thesis) through Curtin University. He has also completed his Certificate in Sterilisation, Disinfection and Infection Control through the University of New England. From 2008 to 2010 he completed the ten pre-clinical modules of a Post Graduate Medical Degree through the Oceania University of Medicine, including an 8 week clinical rotation at TTM Hospital, Apia, Samoa.
Mr De Brennan established “Your Feet” Podiatry Clinic Mosman in 1998 at the Myahgah Mews premises. During this year he also received hospital accreditation at Mosman Private Hospital. From 2006 to 2011 he operated the Cardinal Street Clinic in Mosman. In May of 2011 he decided with his wife Nadja to move to the Sapphire Coast on the Far South Coast of New South Wales, to the town of Bermagui, where they had holidayed for many years.
Mr De Brennan enjoys all aspects of Podiatric Medicine, and has a special interest in Surgery and Sports. He has a real passion for the continuing development and support of his profession and is a past Vice-President and Board Member / Director of the Australian Podiatry Association (NSW), having looked after the Surgery, Student Liaison and Occupational Health and Safety Portfolios for many years. He is also committed to education and has lectured and clinically supervised 3rd and 4th year Podiatry Students at the University of Western Sydney.
